1. What services do you offer?

We specialize in providing executive assistant and chief of staff services to business leaders, including day-to-day administrative support, project coordination, and strategic assistance. In addition, we offer assistance with small scale event planning and coordination as well as travel to special events.

2. Are you a virtual assistant service?

No, we are not a traditional virtual assistant. Stirling Executive Support provides services that go beyond task-based assistance. While some of the work may be done virtually, our role is more strategic, combining the hands-on support of an experienced Executive Assistant with the high-level insight of a Chief of Staff. We focus on partnering with leaders to provide relevant, reliable, and first-class support that includes executive collaboration, operational leadership, and strategic guidance. This means I help you tackle challenges, streamline operations, and focus on growth—not just complete individual tasks.

 

3. Is Stirling Executive Support a virtual or in person service? 

We believe that in order to assist you in the best way possible, collaboration is key. While we are open to working strictly virtually, in order to get to know you best and provide the highest level of service, we want to get to know you and your team. This partnership is generally best served by a hybrid model, but depending on the client, can also be facilitated virtually.

4. Why not use AI? 

While AI has a ton of perks, working directly with a person on many tasks is still unmatched. AI might be able to think ahead for you in some situations, but it lacks a personal connection with you that allows us to help you in a more beneficial way.

5. How do you determine what tasks to take on for each client?

We work closely with each client to understand their unique needs and goals, and develop a customized plan to provide the support they require. Our goal is always to be a true partner to our clients, not just a task-taker.

6. Are you an executive assistant or a chief of staff?

Stirling Executive Support provides both executive assistant and chief of staff services, tailored to the needs of smaller organizations. In larger companies, these roles should be separate due to their unique demands, but in smaller organizations or for short time periods, combining them can offer agile, efficient support to leaders until two separate roles can be hired. In many organizations this role would be referenced as a high-performing strategic executive assistant.

7. What is the difference between an executive assistant and a chief of staff?

At a very high level, the main difference is that an executive assistant's primary focus is on managing the leader’s day-to-day activities and logistical needs, while a chief of staff oversees strategic initiatives, coordinates team efforts, and supports high-level decision-making. Many high-level executive assistants operate in both of these roles.

 

8. How do you ensure client confidentiality?

We take client confidentiality very seriously and have strict policies in place to protect sensitive information. Our team members sign non-disclosure agreements, and we use secure communication tools to ensure all client information is kept private.

 

9. How much do your services cost?

Our pricing varies depending on the scope and complexity of the work required, as well as the level of experience and expertise needed from our team members. After an initial consultation we will work with you to determine your specific needs.
